Turkish Airlines, is introducing a Premium Economy product called “Comfort Class” when it receives its delivery of new Boeing B777s. The new class will add to economy, business and first class.

The purpose is to combine the convenience of Business Class with the reasonable purchasing rates of Economy Class.

Routes that will first have the new Comfort Class seats include Beijing, Shanghai, Narita, Bangkok, São Paulo and Toronto. Depending on delivery time of the B777s, the new class will be offered on New York, Chicago and Washington DC flights as well.

The most important aspect of the Comfort Class are the seats as the knee space and sitting space are kept at maximum range. The seat pitch will be 116cm and seat width will be 49cm.

In-arm personal display screens will measure 10.6 inches and will enable passengers to watch as many films, serials, documentaries and cartoons as they wish. Passengers who want to rest their legs will have a leg rest stowed beneath the seats.
