Turkish Airlines, who recently won the prestigious title of Europe’s Best Airline as voted by Skytrax’s review website, has discussed their plans for rapid expansion over the coming years. Whilst other airlines are cutting back on the quality of service to accommodate for costs, Turkish Airlines are planning to change the expectations of air travel.
Turkish Airlines has committed itself to expanding its fleet and introducing 19 new aircrafts this year alone. The airline will also be introducing new destinations and routes. The majority of the airlines fleet are currently configured with two classes which include Business Class.
Passengers in Business Class are provided with a range of on-board amenities and luxuries; kits for personal care are available in all classes, but Business Class are treated to an exceptional gourmet experience that boasts authentic Turkish cuisine and on long-haul international flights, a ‘Flying Chef’ to serve the members of Business Class.
Wi-Fi internet and live television was also recently launched by the airline, for Business Class customers to take advantage of, on flights to and from Los Angeles and New York.

The airline recently expanded its operations into Africa, The Middle East, Russia, the Far East and Central Asia. Plans to continue expansion on services from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C. are currently on the airline’s objectives.
