Qatar Airways has revealed the new look of their Business Class cabin onboard the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The Dreamliner will join Qatar Airways’ fleet in the summer of this year.
The new 787 aircraft is configured with two classes which include the airline’s brand new Business Class cabin. There are a total of 254 seats onboard the aircraft, with Business Class equipped with 22 seats.
The Business Class cabin is configured in a 1-2-1 formation and resembles the airline’s typical layout for First Class; this configuration allows all passengers access to aisles directly. Seats are 22 inches wide and allow passengers a considerable amount of personal space. Chairs convert easily, with just the touch of a button, to a flat-bed which extends to 80 inches and is 30 inches wide. Armrests on each chair can also be adjusted to suit each different passenger’s body whilst they read, work, dine or rest.
When it comes to dining, the airline’s new Business Class cabin allows passengers the ability to dine on an elegant sliding table trimmed with wood. Side tables are also available to allow passengers to rest their laptops on whilst they dine. Sufficient storage room is located conveniently near to each chair, providing passengers with space to store their personal belongings.
Each seat has been specifically designed for the airline’s cabin, and is equipped with touch screen technology which is powered by Android. Business Class passengers can enjoy a range of in-flight entertainment via the interactive system, featuring a range of music, television programmes and games.
